Liverpool and England Guide - Hotels and Review

Hope Street - 40 Hope Street - L1 9DA Liverpool - - England (U.K.) - email: res@designhotels.com
Hope Street Hotel is as confident, open and welcoming as Liverpool itself. A city with a feel for the past, but its eyes on the future, the port has always been one of the UK’s most international and lively regions. Bringing a clean new style to the historic Hope Street quarter, the proprietor-managed hotel is housed in a former warehouse, built in 1860 in the style of a Venetian palazzo.

The Arthouse Liverpool - 1-9 North John Street - L2 9RP Liverpool - - England (U.K.) - email: res@designhotels.com
A stone's throw from the Mersey River, The ArtHouse Liverpool is distinguished by its gleaming gold leaf dome in the city's skyline. This landmark building, completed in 1903 by Francis Doyle as the offices of the Royal Insurance Company, contains period craftmanship and materials that are now complemented by modern comforts and innovative design. The grand, spacious bar has an orginal decorative plaster ceiling of exotic fruits and flowers that has been beautifully restored.
